Bad guys, bad guys... whatcha gonna do when they come for you?

Ok so yesterday U decided we needed to go up to the canyons to take a "walk". We are on our way to visit his friend that lives close to where he wanted to go.

We are approaching many many emergency car lights. As we get closer there's about 6 police vehicles surrounding this little car. Off to the right of the road. Next to the building is a kid with a flat mohawk dark roots and blonde hawk. In one of the vehicles (truck) is another kid sweating profusely. The police get the kid in the truck out and it appears he has handcuffs on already. They walk him around the truck to the other side on the grass and kneel him down. We couldn't really see at this point as the truck was in our way. It looked like he was throwing up. We were stopped at the red light right next to this truck. I did catch eye contact with the kid in the truck just before they took him out of the truck.

Light turns green and I look back to see what he's doing on the ground and it really looked like the police were trying to keep him on the ground from getting up to run. There were about 4 police standing around him while the hawk kid was still talking to police.

Weird! There were not other cars around to say it was an accident or even a drive by or anything like that.

As we drive away the kids are all excited they saw a bad guy in real life. WOW!! It's amazing they really do have COPS in real life catching bad guys. E says I saw a bad guy in real life not just on TV but in REAL LIFE!!! Highlight of the moment.

We go on our "walk" that turns into a "hike". Yeah we need to go over our definitions of walks and hikes I guess.

Later that night I turn on the news and I see the "bad guys" face. OMG!! It was really a bad guy! He had walked into a restraunt a few blocks from where we live and tried to steal their cash register. Yeah smart kid! Anyway, he dropped it and started running I guess. He talked the hawk kid into giving him a ride and told him the customers from this restraunt were after him. WOW talk about exciting!

E was so excited he had to call Gma and tell her about it.
